Xip Diagnostics Founder and CEO Dr. Octavian Florescu spun out the company to commercialize research discoveries made while he was a PhD student in the lab of UC Berkeley Professor of Electrical Engineering Bernhard Boser.
Formerly known as Silicon BioDevices LLC. The company was acquired by In Diagnostics in 2021.
