Innovation Equity

UC Berkeley accepts equity in companies under two programs: 1) through licensing transactions; 2) as compensation for access to UC Berkeley facilities or for startup acceleration and incubation services. The Equity Solutions Services (ESS) team manages innovation equity at UC Berkeley.
