Brief Description
Humen, Inc. is a platform for personalized interactive content creation using artificial intelligence. The AI platform permits transferring movements and skills through video, enabling users to share video content. Its popular iOS app, Sway: Magic Dance, uses state of the art AI modelling to generate video. The fun-to-use app generates videos of users based on a source video uploaded by the user doing basic motions, like moving around, kicking their legs or waving their arms. Its PyTorch-backed proprietary GAN Neural Network model creates a digital skeleton of the user. Using that skeleton, users can generate a new, photo-realistic stunt double of themselves dancing like Michael Jackson, twirling like a ballet dancer, or making karate moves like a Black Belt in 30 seconds.
The company partnered with Doritos / Lil Nas X / Sam Elliot during Superbowl 2020 for the award-winning Cool Ranch campaign; collaborated with Diplo to create an AI-generated music video for his hit song On My Mind; and partnered with League of Legends for AI-generated character animation for the opening ceremony of the 2019 World Championship. Humen was co-founded by Tinghui Zhou, who co-invented the technology as a PhD student in the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research Lab.
