Brief Description
Avametric technology enables brands to deliver accurate 3D renderings of their apparel & accessories on customizable digital body models for web, mobile, and augmented reality. With the proprietary software, business can recreate a real-world fitting room experience online, making it possible for customers to try on garments virtually with a personalized 3D avatar. The company was born out of ARCSims adaptive refining and corsening simulator technology developed in the lab of UC Berkeley Professor of Computer Sciences James O'Brien. Dr. O'Brien co-founded Avametric, and served as the company's chief scientific officer.
