Richard Harris is a Licensing Specialist at UC Berkeley’s Office of Technology Licensing (OTL) where he assists the licensing executive staff in all aspects of Intellectual Property management, including patent prosecution and licensing. Richard also facilitates all outgoing material transfers for the University.
Richard came to the OTL in 2000. Before joining the OTL, Richard worked as a web developer and project manager for a healthcare information startup company in San Francisco. He also worked for a local technology/environmental- social justice event organization and interned at an international environmental/social justice advocacy group headquartered in the Bay Area. Prior to that Richard worked as a freelance web developer.
Richard holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley (PACS ’99) and a master’s degree from Stanford University (MLA ’07).
