Eric Giegerich became the Director of UC Berkeley’s Industry Alliances Office in 2013, having joined the office in 2006. Prior to joining UC Berkeley, he was a Licensing Associate at the Buck Institute for Research in Aging. Eric is active in two grass-roots multi-university networks: the Industry Contract Officer’s Network (ICON), and the University-Industry Working Group (UIWG). Eric is also active in the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM).
Eric holds a JD from the University of New Hampshire’s Franklin Pierce School of Law and earned their Certificate in Intellectual Property Law. He earned an MA in Philosophy and Religion from CIIS and a BA in Religion and Philosophy from Houghton College.
