Andrea McEvoy is Director of Client Services at the University of California, Berkeley Intellectual Property & Industry Research Alliances office, working within its Technology Licensing and Industry Alliance Offices. In this role she supports customers in identifying and meeting technology transfer needs along with advancing research collaborations on and off campus. She also provides connections to the university’s innovation and entrepreneurship platform, programs, and resources.
Prior to joining IPIRA, Andrea served as Director of Business Development & Employer Relations at UC Davis Graduate School of Management, increasing student engagement with companies, startups, and alumni. Earlier, as Senior Manager for UC Berkeley Corporate Education, she partnered with companies globally in crafting leadership programs and upskilling workshops for employees. Additionally, she has worked in the cable television industry managing marketing, communications, and business development initiatives. Andrea earned her MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and BA in English from Kenyon College.
