- FAQs about copyright
A Software copyright and disclaimer notice should be included in all software binary and source code, packaging, and documentation to parties outside of the University. This document tells you how and where to put the notice in such a distribution of software created at UC Berkeley, whether or not you use OTL's copyrighting, patenting, marketing, and licensing services.
- Royalty Agreement [PDF] for Copyrighted Software between Authors at UC Berkeley and the UC Regents (" Agreement Concerning Computer Program Licensing and Distribution of Income for Software"). If your software is solely protected by copyright (and not patent), this agreement applies. Otherwise, UC Patent Policy applies.
