Sabrina David

Sabrina is a Junior Licensing Officer in the Office of Technology Licensing with a focus on the Physical Sciences. Her graduate research work in Materials Science and Engineering utilized nonlinear optical confocal microscopy and density functional theory (DFT) calculations to characterize structural and electronic defects in 2D semiconductors, transition metal dichalcogenides.

She previously worked as an in-house patent agent for technology consulting company Triple Ring Technologies, Inc. of Newark, CA, where she wrote and pursued patent applications for medical devices, imaging systems, and various other technologies.

Sabrina is a UC Berkeley alum (2011) holding B.A.’s in Physics and Legal Studies. She completed her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
