NSF SBIR Workshop - June 2018 Submission

Do you think you have a great business idea, but need funding?

Consider applying for SBIR/STTR grant funding!

Developing SBIR/STTR proposals is a complex process with a steep learning curve, but the impact of receiving up to $1.5M in non-dilutive funding is worth the effort! First-time applicants are often daunted by the intricacies of the grant submission and review process, and unsure about how to interact with funding agency staff.

This three-session workshop is scheduled to coincide with the June 2018 deadline and includes:

  • Three 2-hour classes taught by a former NSF Program Director
  • Two Webinars reviewing eligibility and accounting
  • Characteristics of a competitive proposal and insight into what reviewers are looking for
  • 1-on-1 office hours with a former program director or experienced proposal reviewer to provide personalized feedback

Workshop schedule:

  • April 18: How to Craft a Competitive Proposal
  • April 25: Do's and Don'ts for the Proposal Components
  • May 2: No class session, optional office hours and optional webinar on budget accounting
  • May 9: Mock Proposal Review, Executing on the SBIR Phase I

Free Info Session (March 28) that will cover:
